About WWHM
In order to keep costs down and affordable, we ask everyone to help with the work of our group. This is only reasonable since your children will reap the benefit of participation in the group. We have divided the work of our group into 3 teams ( Educational, Service and Public Relations). Each team has a team leader and core group coordinators for specific projects assisted by volunteer parents who together make sure the work of their assigned core group is done. These core groups include the opportunity to help in the classroom, sell concessions, clean the commons area, work in the nursery, hall monitor, set up and clean up and other services to help the group run efficiently. When you enroll you will be given a list of volunteer opportunities available. We hope to match your talents and skills with the areas of service we have. The Volunteer Requirement is one hour volunteer time for each class in which your family enrolls up to a three-hour maximum of volunteer time. Because some volunteer jobs require prep work outside of Mondays, These jobs will qualify for 3 hours of volunteer time. For example: Teachers teaching one class for free or being a team leader or coordinator. All other volunteer areas are tracked by the hour.
